Dr. Alex Coleman

Dr. Alex Coleman, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, and elbow reconstruction, as well as microvascular surgery and limb salvage. His practice encompasses the full spectrum of hand and wrist conditions from the simple to the complex, utilizing a broad range of non-surgical treatment regimens, and, when necessary, the latest surgical techniques. His scholarly interests include biomechanical engineering and the design and manufacture of specialized surgical instruments.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts from The University of the South (Sewanee) and received his medical degree from The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Dr. Coleman completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Campbell Clinic, followed by a prestigious fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
