After extensive post residency training and clinical experiences in musculoskeletal medicine, she became Director of Spine, Sports & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at New Jersey Pain Management -The Spine, Sports and Pain Medicine Center. She is currently on staff at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine – Morristown Medical Center, Atlantic Health System. Dr. Polesin is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Pain Medicine. Dr. Polesin specializes in helping individuals recover from acute and chronic injuries. Her expertise in non-operative spine and orthopedic medicine, combined with large clinical acumen of neurologic and rheumatologic conditions and board certifications in Pain and Sports Medicine set her aside from many narrowly-trained physicians as a comprehensive specialist in all aspects of conservative neuromusculoskeletal care. She is an expert in image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic injections utilizing ultrasound and fluoroscopy, and is fully proficient in electrodiagnosis. Her clinical approach is focused on both: immediate effective pain reduction, as well as an assessment of the whole musculoskeletal system to prevent further injury and slow down effects of wear and tear associated with aging.
Dr. Polesin recently developed a growing interest in Regenerative Medicine approaches, a new and exciting field with emphasis on a more natural recovery from many chronic and difficult-to-treat conditions. Dr. Polesin strongly believes that patient education, teamwork between healthcare practitioners, and utilization of both traditional and alternative treatments enables significantly better outcomes and ensures the best possible functional recovery.

Very informative and caring doctor! I trust her completely!!!!
Super efficient check in process by very kind front office staff. Nursing staff was thorough and professional, doctor ordered immediate imaging to discover the root cause of pain. No imaging on site, have to go elsewhere for it. Injections and meds offered for immediate pain relief.

She's the best.. listens and understands your pain. You spend time waiting for her but she always gives you her full attention and takes her time with you.

Absolutely appalling. First, she tells me not to bother getting an EMG because I don’t have peripheral neuropathy. Well, I got the EMG anyway and it turns out that I have peripheral neuropathy. Secondly, I tell her about a brief improvement that I felt, followed by a return of my symptoms, only for her to tell me that I imagined my experience with the improvement. Imagine how many other patients whose experiences she invalidated by telling them that they imagined things. I think she imagined that she was a competent doctor.
