Dr. Lerma spends alot of time with his patients. Unlike other doctors that'll spend 5 minutes, ask acouple of questions, Tell you what to do, then all of a sudden dissappear.

I really like him. Listens to what I say n he explains everything to u til u understand.First time seeing this pcp but I'm happy with him.
Dr. Alejandro Lerma is a Houston native, but has made San Antonio his new home. He is board-certified in Family Medicine, and has been with the Gonzaba Medical Group since 2013. He joined this group and chose to work at the Woodlawn Clinic. He made this decision because he believed his fluent English, fluent Spanish, and his medical training would be most helpful in this clinic’s community. He can interact directly with his patients without communication barriers. In this manner, his patients receive efficient and quality care, which results in better outcomes.
Dr. Lerma received his medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas. He completed his medical training at the Family Medicine Residency here at the San Antonio University of Texas Health Science Center. During the senior year of his residency, he served as Education Chief Resident. Dr. Lerma’s memberships and affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Association (AMA), and Bexar County Medical Society (BCMS)
