Dr. Borensztein has practiced General Endocrinology since 2014. She worked in the New York City area until she moved with her family to Philadelphia. She has since worked at Penn Medicine and in private practice. As the years progressed, while she continued to manage general Endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid conditions, metabolic bone disease and PCOS, she realized she could not fully treat many endocrine conditions without assisting in weight loss and lifestyle modification. Helping patients lose weight and feel well is her passion, and in 2022 she officially became a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
