Dr Tuckman , 8s an awesome surgeon. I have has had him twice for surgery and he has done a n excellent job. I really like that he tells you exactly what is going on. I have told many people about him and 5hey went and really like him. I also forgot to say that he also a nice man and personable.

Appointment was for my sonny with autism, nonverbal, and different behaviors ,before scheduling the appointment I had to make sure I had support to help with my son, as soon as the dr came in was with an attitude saying, are we having a party? Not knowing the needs that my son has, he didn’t even check his foot at all, definitely not happy very disappointed.

Explains procedures,and what to expect.He had done surgery on my left ankle and everything went smoothly.My scare is very minimal and no more pain in my left ankle/foot. Very satisfied. He will be doing my right ankle/foot soon and can't wait to be totally pain free and able to be active again.Would recommend him for any foot,ankle surgery.

He actually took more time to talk with me about my foot pain and the fact that the fusion has not properly healed! But right now my ankle & foot are in a “ “happy’” zone, so he wasn’t going to change anything! Awesome doctor instructions plain and clear

I felt like I was on a time limited pgm. Would have appreciated not having the feeling that there was a rush to get to the next patient. Otherwise, I feel everything went well.

Nice guy but seemed in a hurry which could be understandable give their work load.

I had an earlier model total ankle replacement that was installed around 2008 that with time showed some failure mid 2021. Dr Tuckman proposed a total talar replacement with subtalar fusion, along with an in-bone revision to the tibial component. I accepted and the process began, with CT scans of both ankles, and a 3D printed new talus based on the mirror image of my unaffected ankle. It seemed to me to be complicated surgery, but Dr Tuckman expertly performed this surgery a little over 2 weeks ago on me. I had zero discomfort in recovery without the use of pain meds, and had sutures and splint removed and then placed in a cast after 15 days, to begin weight bearing. Again, no pain , and I am amazed at the ability to weight bear after all that. Dr Tuckman is highly skilled and confident, and has a kind demeanor which is reassuring that you are in the best care, and I thank him for it.

Great doctor! Very assertive and thorough. He operated on one foot 2 years ago and has taken away the chronic pain I had.

Excellent surgeon answered all my questions. He repaired Achilles’ tendon on both feet, separate surgeries. I now look forward to walking and hiking again.

Excellent but seemed a bit distracted and tired

Excellent surgeon. He took his time in the office and explained the pathology and treatment options very well. He recommended conservative treatment first but surgery was ultimately performed. The procedure went smoothly with no post operative complications. There has been excellent correction of the preoperative deformity. Very satisfied with the entire course of treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Tuckman and Lancaster Orthopedic Group.

Dr. Tuckman fixed my left foot in 2017. It's a challenge to see the scars and I no longer have pain. He is now in the process of fixing my right foot. I highly recommend him and the entire team!

Dr. Tuckman always takes the time to listen. He doesn't rush me. He has a good sense of humor and makes me feel comfortable even when he says I need more surgery! He is honest about what is needed and what the procedures involve and the amount of discomfort and disruption in my life that will likely occur.

Did not have the proper wrench’s to remove hardware from foot. Didn’t even have an adjustable wrench for the bolts so he used a F’kn lineman’s pliers.

Just had to wait 90 min to be seen and not one time did anyone come out to say he was running very behind. I work in a Medical office and we would never let a patient sit this long with no interaction. Once back in exam room ( after an hour) Wesley was very kind and attentive.

Dr. Tuckman was very thorough and was most concerned about my problem. He explained what can be done and how to proceed in a caring and informative manner.

Dr. Tuckman knows what he is doing. Found my problems and recommended treatment that would help. Provided a brace on my first appointment, that has greatly reduced the pain that I was in.

I had 2 surgeries from a podiatrist that were in my opinion, very poor outcome. Toe ended up crooked and about 1" shorter then normal. Well let me tell you, Dr Tuckman fixed everything. Thank you Dr Tuckman.

Find him thorough and provides options extremely well

He was fine and factual but he seemed to be bored or something - didn't seem that concerned about me as an individual. I got the facts but left feeling like I was somehow culpable for my injury and I had many questions. Granted I didn't think to ask many of them at the moment but he didn't really offer much beyond strictly the diagnosis. I get the feeling he is methodologically perfect, but his bedside manner left a little to be desired. Perhaps our personalities just don't mesh.

The entire staff was very helpful. Explanations of issues were clear and in normal terms. The wait once inside the exam room was a bit long, which takes away a star; but not nearly as long as the wait in another group, which is why I made a switch.

I had fallen before arriving to the appt and I told the staff and I tried to tell this doctor about it and he did not seem to listen, acting like he was in a hurry and telling me to come back in 4 weeks. I think he sent a total of 2 minutes with me.

I went to many others that could not explain all my issues (multiple foot/lower leg problems). He diagnosed and treated everything. He is great at explaining the issues and treatment options. He is the best ortho doctor, in my opinion.

Dr. Tuckman saw me both in the hospital and at his office. On both occasions he took the time to explain procedures, next steps, and answer our questions.

Dr Tuckman treated me like I was family from start to finish. He answered any questions I had to the point I understood exactly what his treatment was meant to accomplish. Very easy to speak with.
