Dr.Shaban is absolutely Heaven sent! She is the most incredible physician. She takes the time to make sure both myself and my daughter feel heard and get all of our questions answered. I hope she never leaves CHC… sh is what every provider should aim to be

I just moved here (Pismo Beach) with my family. This has been the best experience with a doctor I've ever encountered. Her kindness, and compassion, along with her urgency of taking care of my 4 year old sons needs immediately was a breath of fresh air. She checked more things off a list of what needs to be done so she has a full analysis. Not many doctors do this. My mind is blown.

Dr. Shaban has always wanted to be a pediatrician as long as she can remember. She said it has been a calling she wouldn’t trade for the world. Being able to interact and be a part of the lives of patients helps fuel her passion in the field. The patients of Community Health Centers are the reason why she is excited to come to work every day. She strives to be the best provider she can for them and it is the most rewarding.
Dr. Shaban strives to always be forward and honest with her patients and their families and value working together as a team toward their health and wellness goals.
As far as goals: she would like to help be a voice and a resource within the Central Coast community for pediatric education and research and would like to see misinformation be debunked when needed. Shaban does all that she can to make her practice at CHC a place where patients and their families feel welcome and safe.
Her core message to her patients and their parents is always to remember that what we put into our bodies matters. Treating our bodies well is of the utmost importance.
Away from work, she loves traveling, cooking and baking and playing different sports.
