I was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq and attended medical school there, but finished my family medicine residency in the U.S. I chose to pursue a career in medicine after experiencing what it was like to be diagnosed by a professional doctor. It inspired me to provide that same reassurance to patients. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family cooking, watching movies, exploring new places, and doing service projects.

I think she was sleepy all the time that I was explaining my problems and she just wanted to finish the conversation as soon as she could. She didn’t pay attention to my questions and my questions.
