Practice Philosophy
Dr. Lakra’s goal is to carefully listen to each patient with the intent to provide them individualized and customized clinical care. Additionally, his approach is to help them understand their condition so that they can make an educated decision about their treatment options. He also discusses other modalities such as physical therapy and injections when appropriate. Progression of arthritis leads to pain and stiffness to a point where quality of life is compromised and Dr. Lakra will discuss surgery at that stage. Dr Lakra and his staff spend as much time as needed to make sure patients understand the procedure and what to expect afterwards in terms of recovery, return to activity and to make the surgical process as efficient as possible in order to provide the best outcomes.

Wonderful doctor
Very thorough and caring
This doctor is so nice and personable! I broke my arm and went to the emergency room, they gave me his number and he saw me that day! I’ve been walking around with a broken arm for 10 days and was worried I wouldn’t be able to see an orthopedic doctor for weeks but they got me in right away and the staff was super nice! I’m so glad I went to him. He was kind and treated my pain and was very respectful, I wish I could say the same for Northwest heaths emergency room. The doctor there was not sympathetic at all and refused me any pain medication for a broken arm
Dr. Lakra is very direct, kind, and explains everything so well. I did not feel rushed which is important to me as a patient and as someone who worked in the medical field for 15 years, actually listening to the patient, answering their questions, trying to calm their concerns and showing compassion and understanding is of utmost importance and I feel that way about Dr. Lakra and his wonderful staff.
Excellent, Doctor, very happy with the care, dedication and the hard work i received from him in the redoing of my hip he explains everything well, listens, and is very caring, would definitely recommend him to others, and will gladly use him again in the future if and when i need more procedures done.

Very nice doctor
I had a blast. By the end of our conversation I felt like I was talking to an old friend. I hope to get hurt again so I can visit him. Since this is anonymous I'm the guy with the word leg and the scar on his head. Wish you well. Mri is next in line for me.
Very thorough explanation about the surgery. He was very patient in explaining the procedure and how long it takes to heal.
