Dr. Sastry has now operated on me 2 times. Once for a meniscus and, in 2023, a full hip replacement. Each outcome was seamless and with little or no discomfort ( though each person’s pain tolerance is different). Dr. Sastry answers questions with patience and thoroughly. I would feel comfortable recommending him to anybody.

A doctor I recommend to my friends. He speaks in clear layperson terms And gets right to the point when I ask a question. So glad that he performed my hip and knee operation using robotic techniques. I had an excellent experience and result with Dr. Sastry. He worked with me prior to surgery to ensure I could continue the activities important to me despite having osteoarthritis in the knee. After a year and a half, we agreed that I needed surgery and Dr. Sastry gave me a partial knee replacement. The pre op communication and approach were not only effective but used the latest practices to minimize pain and recover quickly. The entire surgical team helped make the surgery itself a success. But the proof is in the result, after 8 weeks of physical therapy, I am back doing the sports I love like tennis and bike riding. I am very grateful to Dr. Sastry and his team.

There is a reason why I hate doing surveys because of bad experiences with previous medical associates, that I had to seek 2nd opinions, unfortunately, Dr. Sasttry was the worsrt of all,, I had a bad experience with an orthopedic hand surgeon with NH Orthopedics, a doctor that I've seen several years ago when the practice was in Manchester, with NO problem.. Long story short, I had to report his surgical coordinator for her horrible attitude towards me, I did nothing wrong to provoke her in any way, she was rude to me while I was speaking with her over the phone. I have been having extreme difficulty seeking 2nd opinions from other orthopeic surgeons, that I feel as if I've been put on a "black list" , because everywhere I've been, this rude behavior continues to follow me. While I was explaining my situation to Dr. Sastry, he seemed disinterested in my situation because of the reason why I'm in pain, from being assaulted by a Manchester Police officer i n 2022.

Dr. Sastry gave me my life back! I was better ever with legs that were the same length for the first time in 50 yrs. My new hip feels like a natural part of me.

It did take a long time at the counter filling out the new patient form. They said they sent it to me but I never received it. Maybe send it twice to the next new patient. I did not really consider myself a new patient funny you took care of two meniscus tear surgeries. Oh well, technology does change. Hopefully we all kinda say stop for while. AND let’s really understand the effort A I ( artificial intelligence.. soon future technology if we don’t stop it) has on people. Agree?? Thank you for pointing out the positives. Arthritis does have managing solutions. Agree?

I was given an extremely scary diagnosis. AVASCULAR NECROSIS. In extremely terrible pain only to be told her was referring me to his colleague because my surgery would be hard. A total of 6 min. Appointment and told" we don't give pain medication". He turned around and left. I had to ask his nurse what exactly did he say I had cause I was so upset I had forgotten.

Not interested in me as a human being in pain, facing more pain. Told me I should lose some weight; not interested in how I had lost nearly 20 pounds in 6 months, ( I was fighting severe abdominal issues). Was not interested in any other surgery I had already suffered. If he had asked, he might have understood why I was so shaky and upset. He rushed me out and didn't even ask me to set a second appointment. His nose was mostly in the lap top , fingers typing notes. He basically left me feeling that he was more interested in pushing me out the door than really listening to me. I cried when I got home. I have had 12 surgeries in 10 years, mostly dealing with joint replacements..I suffer from severe arthritis and my life is always painful to some degree.

My recent visit with Dr Sastry was accomplished with proficiency professionalism & compassion. From the check in to the check out, the staff at each station introduced themselves, were thorough in their role & above all kind & caring. I only met with Dr Sastry prior to my possible surgery. He presented the surgery in terms I could understand. He discussed my issues with my right hip. He also discussed that my left hip is not far behind. I met him briefly during my pre-spinal anaesthesia whole body special soap wipe down. We verified that he was working on my right hip. He has a positive, confident dimeaner. Always a smile on his face. Rehab started the day of the surgery.

Dr. Sastry has replaced both of my hips. Within a week of the first one, I was able to walk a mile comfortably. It was amazing after having lived with significant pain leading up to the surgery. The second one was even better! I was walking unassisted within days and I'm 6 weeks out and able to do my normal activities including caring for horses, yoga, and walking 1-2 miles daily. Dr. Sastry is amazing!
