One of my favorite doctors. My son sees many doctors, and Dr. Gupta is one of our favorites!! He is attentive, quick and very efficient. He listens to me as a parent, never makes me feel dumb and addresses all of my concerns. The practice is always able to fit us in, in a reasonable amount of time - and they are always good about phone communication (calling, answering, etc..)

Today it seemed as though Dr. Gupta had already decided what he would say and do before he even spoke with me for the first time. He didn't speak with the nurse that I spoke to when I was seated in the examination room, or she would have told him my visit was relating to symptoms caused by a viral infection and not the deeper underlying condition that afflicts me. He entered the room with pre-formed assumptions on my needs and with assumptions of what I would say and how he would respond. He told me I was a frustrating patient. How would that make anyone feel? To be treated as such by those that are meant to provide you aid. One of the first few sentences spoken to me, aside from being called frustrating, was "we can't help you" - before even knowing the specific reason for my visit on the day. I cannot even describe how awful this felt.

I was very satisfied with my treatment at the office, helping me with my coughing and sinus issues

The appointment with the doctor was quick and painless. A diagnosis was offered and an explanation was provided with an accompanying script to reduce the problem. My only concern was when the doctor talked over my mother as she was attempting to explain things. Listening to patients is, in my opinion, paramount to any successful practice and/or treatment. Hear what the patient is saying rather than your own voice. I was once told you never learned anything while talking. Otherwise, the appointment was okay. Lastly, the check in process was cumbersome. You're practice will have patients who do not use electronics. Offering alternatives is a customer service to manu who may not understand or use tablets in their current lives . . .yes, these folks are still out there and seeking services. Just like my 88yo mother.
