Very polite and straight forward to the point. Will definitely try to keep seeing him for my knee problem.

dr took exrays but didn’t show me them. i told him the pain i was having was in a fiffernt locayion then where he said arthritis was. he never manipulayed or moved my knee. he prescribed the stronger dose of mobic instead of the lesser and it gave me bad stomach pain. he never said that could occur.

Dr. Siddiqi is very honest with his treatment plans. As a surgeon he doesn’t “sell” you on procedures that you are not comfortable with.

Dr. Ahmed Siddiqi, D.O., MBA, FACS, is fellowship-trained in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Surgery from the Cleveland Clinic and specializes in primary, complex, and revision total joint replacement. His training includes minimally invasive hip and knee replacement, partial knee replacement, robotic surgery, and computer-assisted surgery. His primary specialty focus is rapid-recovery, short-stay, outpatient joint replacement surgery, healthcare reform, and the use of Mako SmartRobotics™. He is also a leader in his field regarding digital care management.
Notably, Dr. Siddiqi has built, and is now the Director of, the Robotic Joint Replacement Programs at JFK University Medical Center in Edison, and Northern Monmouth Regional Surgery Center in Manalapan. He is one of the highest volume joint replacement surgeons in the United States, as well as one of the leading robotic joint replacement surgeons specializing in rapid recovery and same-day discharge. His surgery center is the highest volume center in NJ (led by Dr. Siddiqi).
Moreover, Dr. Siddiqi performs direct anterior hip replacements and is one of the few surgeons in NJ that specializes in revision hip replacements from the anterior approach.
During his training, he published numerous chapters in internationally distributed textbooks and articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) for his residency training in orthopaedic surgery and received Dr. Ira Sachs “Road Less Travelled” Award for outstanding leadership as a Chief Resident and the 2018 John Charnley Hip Society Award for his investigation on Medicare bundled payments.
Dr. Siddiqi attended the New York Institute of Technology where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology. He completed his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and obtained his Master’s in Business Administration at Fox School of Business, Temple University.
Born and raised in Staten Island, New York, Dr. Siddiqi spent considerable time both in Staten Island and in central New Jersey with family. He wishes to integrate and provide his expertise and services in the South Asian Edison community that he connects with and spent considerable time growing up. Dr. Siddiqi has a large extended family with deep ties to New York City and central Jersey. He is married with four children, and enjoys his time exploring different ethnic foods, traveling, playing baseball, basketball, and is a die-hard New York Yankees fan.
