Dr. Ahmad Mahmoud, M.D., is a highly skilled interventional cardiologist with a strong academic and professional background. Originally from Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Mahmoud began his medical journey at Ain Shams University, earning both his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and a Master's in Cardiovascular Medicine.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mahmoud enjoys biking, music, and traveling. He is excited to explore Gainesville alongside his wife and is committed to contributing to the well-being of the community.

Dr. Mahmoud is the most wonderful physician - he really listens in his very own kind, caring and gracious way. He takes the time needed for each appointment. Dr. Mahmoud is the finest and we are very blessed having him.
I do not know how to rate this doctor because I did not see this doctor. I did not see any doctor. I had a CT with staff. No Doctor in sight. I am sure he is great, as all the Dr I have seen at TCAVI, but rate?

Dr. Mahmoud is very patient and professional and alleviated my anxiety. He is also very thorough and addressed all my concerns.
Excellent bedside manner. He also demonstrated good patient education to me about the PFO in my heart. His staff was friendly and compassionate.
