Dr Jabbar takes his time with you and ask questions that as a patient you might think of. He’s very personable. I had too other cardiologist which were not anywhere near Dr Jabbar's compassion. I would recommend him highly. His nurse Ms Gala is also awesome.

A native of the Westbank area, Dr. Ahmad Jabbar is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Harvey.
Dr. Jabbar completed a Bachelor in Science degree in Biology Pre-Med at Xavier University in New Orleans. His master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences was received at Barry University in Miami, Florida. His medical doctorate was completed at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Jabbar completed his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He also completed his general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Tulane University Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans.
Dr. Jabbar is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He is also certified by the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.
