A native of the Westbank area, Dr. Ahmad Jabbar is an interventional cardiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Harvey.
Dr. Jabbar completed a Bachelor in Science degree in Biology Pre-Med at Xavier University in New Orleans. His master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences was received at Barry University in Miami, Florida. His medical doctorate was completed at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Jabbar completed his internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He also completed his general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Tulane University Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans.
