Agnes Czibulka graduated from University of Pecs, School of Medicine in 1977. She subsequently completed her otolaryngology training at the same university before coming to Yale University School of Medicine in 1989. As a postdoctoral associate and later as a research scientist associate in Yale’s Department of Otolaryngology, she conducted basic research related to the hearing system and tinnitus. Afterward, she was awarded a research grant from the Deafness Research Foundation.
Between 1994 and 1999, Dr. Czibulka completed another otolaryngology residency program at Yale University and became board-certified in 2000 by the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery.
She completed a 2-year fellowship program at Andrew Weil Center for Integrated Medicine in 2011 with the goal of assisting patient’s with natural alternative treatment options.
She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy and offers treatment for difficult allergy patients and immunotherapy.
She has distinguished herself as an excellent community-based physician and surgeon in all areas of otolaryngology–head and neck surgery, seeing both children and adult patients. In addition, she teaches medical residents as a clinical instructor at the Yale University Otolaryngology program.

Told me multiple times to lose weight. Did not ask about why weight was gained. Felt chastised over my weight, and then told me I was “not of any age” although I am exactly of the age of perimenopausal onset, when I was there for allergies and somehow that became the subject of conversation. Extremely misogynistic coming from a woman who does not specialize in endocrinology, immunology, or general medical care. Environmental allergies and septum deviation will not be helped by diet, exercise, or weight loss. It was quite an upsetting, offensive interaction with her compared to the first time seeing her. Even the medical student seemed stunned to address my weight, but then chimed in against my comments regarding that my age, and lifestyle are impactful. Last I checked this was an ENT office, not nutritional and lifestyle consulting. Giving unsolicited feedback on diet and weight are not the kindest ways to address patient concerns regarding allergies.

She gets one star only because she has a lot of knowledge. She has an awful bedside manner. Makes you feel like you are wasting her time. She is dismissive and talks down to you. I honestly don't know how she is still in business. I'm definitely looking for another doctor
