Dr. Adnan Mallick is a certified Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellowship trained Retina specialist. He has been practicing Retina surgery since 2017 and comes to join the Retina Center of New Jersey after working in both Albany, NY and Columbus, OH.
Dr. Mallick graduated summa cum laude from an accelerated 7 year BS/MD Program at the City College of New York/Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. He earned his medical degree with honors from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY. He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System where he was selected by his peers to serve as Chief Resident. He went on to a coveted 2-year Vitreo-Retinal fellowship at the Ohio State University. There he was regarded for his excellence in teaching and clinical care. Simultaneously he was an investigator in many clinical trials on the cutting edge of retina care, including wet AMD, Dry AMD, Vein Occlusions and Diabetes. He has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and presented his work at national and international meetings.
Dr. Mallick was born and raised in New York. After the birth of his second child, he is moving back to the area to be close to family. Dr Mallick is also fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi. Outside of work, his interests include traveling, motorsports, and spending time with his wife and 2 children.

So grateful for the effort and professionalism
I found Dr. Mallick very caring regarding my condition. He offered advice for me going forward regarding my styes. The prescription he referred me to purchase and use for two weeks cost $328.00. Way out of my, a senior citizen's, budget. I requested on two occasions for a generic brand to be called in but did not hear back. Instead of calling a third time, I purchased Stye Sterile Lubricant Eye Ointment. I hope this does the trick.

Dr. Mallick was very quick to address the hole that existed in my left eye. He also performed the photocoagulation procedure within my scheduled appointment slot which was amazing!
He looks like hes 28 yrs old. Hes on his game. He is kind and patient and explains everything.. the treatment we do yet but the office had to be like 30 people waiting for him so he gotta be good. And the wait was quickly
