Dr. Adam Streit was born and raised in Southeast Nebraska. He attended Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Streit completed his orthopaedic surgery residency through Doctor’s Hospital/ Ohio University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Streit has served active duty in the US Air Force, and also operated as an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Streit provided orthopaedic care for collegiate athletes at Saint Louis University, as well as many veterans and active duty military members at home and abroad.
Dr. Streit operates at Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska, Sabetha Community Hospital in Sabetha, Kansas and Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, Nebraska. He provides a range of orthopaedic services, specializing in total joint replacement and treatment of shoulder and knee. He performs minimally invasive anterior total hip arthroplasty. Dr. Streit also offers a full spectrum of knee replacement techniques, including unicompartmental knee arthroplasty.
In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and outdoor activities, including skiing, boating and hunting.

Dr. Streit is excellent. My experience with him when he did my first hip-replacement went extremely well. He is thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He monitored my condition carefully after the surgery and guided me through recovery with what I should expect. He was so good that now that it’s time to have the other one done, there is no question of having anyone else do it. His team was also remarkable in their professionalism, preparation, care, and personal touch.
Caring, personable, involved himself didn’t let others speak for him, advocating to get me what I need to make this surgery work for me in my current situation. Spoke to me in person, face to face didn’t leave it to the PA. He is really. Helping me! Kendra Schmidt
