Dr. Adam Streit was born and raised in Southeast Nebraska. He attended Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, followed by medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Dr. Streit completed his orthopaedic surgery residency through Doctor’s Hospital/ Ohio University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Streit has served active duty in the US Air Force, and also operated as an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University Hospital. Dr. Streit provided orthopaedic care for collegiate athletes at Saint Louis University, as well as many veterans and active duty military members at home and abroad.
Dr. Streit operates at Community Medical Center in Falls City, Nebraska, Sabetha Community Hospital in Sabetha, Kansas and Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, Nebraska. He provides a range of orthopaedic services, specializing in total joint replacement and treatment of shoulder and knee. He performs minimally invasive anterior total hip arthroplasty. Dr. Streit also offers a full spectrum of knee replacement techniques, including unicompartmental knee arthroplasty.
In his spare time, he enjoys exercising and outdoor activities, including skiing, boating and hunting.

HE IS AN EXCEPTIONAL DOCTOR.
To be honest, Dr Strait is reserved, but one of the gentlest and kindest physicians. He is calm, caring and when it matters fully present. He helped my fears, dealt with every challenge with kindness, and his surgery left no scars. We have to follow the plan, but if we don't he will guide you with kindness and professionalism. Okay, I was a wreck considering this surgery....but Dr Strait and his staff, who are the best, made my life manageable and helped me become pain free and regain my mobility.
He listened well, and showed us the area of concern in my MRI. He answered all my questions. He allowed me to be in charge of my own care. That interaction was just what I had hoped for.
