First time seeing him. He was excellent!!!
Everything went quickly from the initial screening, through X-rays and to the Doctors consultation and next steps.
He gave me a very understandable explanation for what was injured because of my fall. He provided options on how to treat this injury. We discussed what to do and agreed on a plan including a return visit to his office in a few weeks. My wife and I are pleased he is part of your team.
First post OP visit. Thinking positive that I will be able to return to work.. Dr didn't even examine or have me do any functions with my knee. At this point the Dr explained to me what the operation entailed . And then told me I'm not going back to work for 4 more weeks, and that I'm to remain wearing my brace locked straight when putting weight on my leg. This information should have been more clear in my discharge summary, rather than it simplified down like it was. Also it would have been beneficial to my employer and I so we could have been better prepared for a longer recovery time. In my experience, more information is always better.
Dr. Streit is both highly professional and caring. You know you are not just a patient before him. You are a human. It’s in his manner and his willingness to take time with you and resolve all your question.
