He didn’t listen to me. He seemed to assume already. Things he told me which are affecting me aren’t things I do anyway! I don’t eat spicy food. I don’t drink carbonated beverages. I don’t eat two hours before bed! And the condition is only when I am running outside! I am going somewhere else.

Excellent doctor been going to him for 10 years or more

It appears he is a good guys and his office demeanor was very warm and welcoming.

Dr Spiess listens and doesn’t rush you out. He thoroughly examined my nose. I have had problems with my sinuses for years and have seen several ENT’s, all of which have brushed off my complaints. He actually looked in my nose and prescribed medication to help with inflammation and nasal rinses twice a day. I can’t explain how much this has changed my life.

I went to Dr. Spies for a nodule on my thyroid. Ohio ENT web site stated that a biopsy on a node over 1.5cm usually is inconclusive, so they would remove it. I came to him, (July) already having a failed biopsy. He spent 5 minutes with me, and told me I would have to have another biopsy. His assistant said to expect a call from Ohio Health. Days later, I have a call from OSU for another ultrasound (not biopsy) and a referral to OSU Endocrinology. So, I may or may not have cancer and the endo had no opening until January! What the..... I am so confused, scare, and frustrated!

He's the best...

I was concerned that I may have developed throat cancer. Dr, Spiess calmed my concerns by performing a procedure by running a small camera to that area to confirm no indication of cancer but only problems with acid reflux.
