Dr. Adam Russak, M.D., is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Vascular Interpretation) and fellowship-trained in Cardiovascular Disease from The Mount Sinai Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Adam Russak, M.D., is a non-invasive cardiologist with a particular clinical interest in valvular heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, sports cardiology, and disorders of cholesterol and lipid metabolism. With expertise in 2D and 3D echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, cardiac CT, and nuclear stress testing, Dr. Russak specializes in the application of state-of-the-art multimodality imaging techniques to improve the lives of his patients.
Dr. Russak was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated as a valedictorian of Agoura High School and attended the University of Rochester in the prestigious Rochester Early Medical Scholars program, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Phi Beta Kappa inductee with degrees in Applied Mathematics and Biology. He remained at Rochester for medical school, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed residency at The Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was selected to serve as a Chief Resident. He continued at The Mount Sinai Hospital for his cardiovascular disease fellowship, where he trained under the direction of Drs. Valentin Fuster, Deepak Bhatt, and Jonathan Halperin.
Dr. Adam Russak has published in several leading research journals, including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, The European Heart Journal, EBioMedicine, and Heart Rhythm, and his research has been cited over 3,000 times in the medical literature.
