Dr. Adam J. Handwerger graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of South Alabama, following which, he completed his fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, with Children’s Orthopaedics of Atlanta.

Dr. Handwerger was so good with my daughter and extremely funny! He has us laughing the entire time we were there. The girls at the front desk were beyond helpful and nice!
I was extremely satisfied with how my daughter’s visit went today! The office check in went super smooth as a new patient and we were called back right on time with no wait!
