Dr. Adam Cabalo is board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. He received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed his internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He continued his residency at the Oregon Health and Science University and completed his fellowship training at the Spine Care Medical Group in Daly City, California. He returned to Maui as an orthopedist and had the experience of helping a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic needs. Since then, Dr. Cabalo has returned to his passion of specialization in spine surgery and trauma. He enjoys the art and skill that goes into fixing the human body.

His personal interests include fishing (spear, kayak, and fly), free diving, surfing, game theory, guitar, ukulele, hunting, and fatherhood.

Dr. Cabalo is very personable and cares about his patients. I had a fusion in my lower back last September and it has been a positive experience, I was informed about the ups and downs of PT and healing process which has helped me with my progress & expectations.

He expedited my appointment from Thursday to Monday while I was in my wife’s appointment. He was able to schedule a spinal injection for me at that time. I am very happy.
