Dr. Adam Cabalo is board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. He received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed his internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He continued his residency at the Oregon Health and Science University and completed his fellowship training at the Spine Care Medical Group in Daly City, California. He returned to Maui as an orthopedist and had the experience of helping a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic needs. Since then, Dr. Cabalo has returned to his passion of specialization in spine surgery and trauma. He enjoys the art and skill that goes into fixing the human body.

His personal interests include fishing (spear, kayak, and fly), free diving, surfing, game theory, guitar, ukulele, hunting, and fatherhood.

Adam Cabalo was not only involved in his field, he was worried about issues I'm having elsewhere. I have a bad back, I had an appointment with my doctor about it later that afternoon. He was interested in the treatment for my back, along with his treatment of a different part.of my back.
I appreciated the fact that he listened to me. He understood my MRI and help me come to a resolution on it. I'm not looking forward to what I need to do to make it better. However, I do know that I am in good hands with him. He made me feel very comfortable.
Always courteous and takes time to answer my questions
Dr Cabalo listened and gave me his opinions and recommendations he explained everything I needed . This was what I was looking for
He had read and evaluated my test results and had a follow up plan. He explained everything clearly and had clear answers to all of my questions.
