Dr. Adam Cabalo is board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was born and raised on the island of Maui, Hawaii. He received his medical degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed his internship at the University of California, San Francisco. He continued his residency at the Oregon Health and Science University and completed his fellowship training at the Spine Care Medical Group in Daly City, California. He returned to Maui as an orthopedist and had the experience of helping a diverse patient population with varying orthopedic needs. Since then, Dr. Cabalo has returned to his passion of specialization in spine surgery and trauma. He enjoys the art and skill that goes into fixing the human body.

His personal interests include fishing (spear, kayak, and fly), free diving, surfing, game theory, guitar, ukulele, hunting, and fatherhood.

He is the best!
He was very abrupt and uncaring. I didn’t want to see a surgeon, I wanted a regular orthopedic doctor

He soft spoken so you don't get all freaked out and he explains to you what's going on before it's even done
Very easy to talk to. Communicated very well, in a way I could understand my options.
Dr. Cabalo described my condition and showed me MRI film so I could see graphically what was causing my pain and how he was going to eliminate it. He is personable and professional. I am post-op now and doing well thanks to his skill.

Excellent as always! So friendly and attentive. Really listens and comes up with a game plam. If you are.needling a back orthopedic, he’s the one! His MA Lily is terrific!!
