Amazing. I was referred from out of town after 6 months of trying to get help at home. Once approved I got an appointment within 2 weeks. He Advised me if my options and the pros and cons of all 3. I have an appointment next week for surgery. Very professional, and knowledgeable. Unlike the Dr.s closer to home, he also knew what my uns would and would not cover, so my surgery was approved the first time it was submitted and right away too.

Dr. Cabalo is personable, knowledgeable and takes the time to answer your questions and concerns. When or if you decide to have a procedure done he is very honest about success rate, recovery time etc. it’s very rare to find that in a doctor. However I have found that Southern Oregon Orthopedics has a Great Staff (from receptionist, Dr Asst, Dr and PT).

Every time I have had contact with Dr Cabalo he has treated me as if I were the only patient he had. His staff is wonderful and so gracious and helpful. A truly delightful experience every time.

Didn’t identify himself as a spine specialist yet he referred me to PT for my hip. On return he ask me why I was seeing him. As a patient over 70, he referred me to a sports medicine Dr who also didn’t deal with hips or people over 50.

Was there for nearly two hours, and never saw a Doctor, or was taken into x-ray. Finally gave clip board back to receptionist and left. Had driven two hours to get there. Won't go back.

Dr. Cabalo doesn't give you his time. He double books follow ups so a 10 minute appt lasts an hour with wait time. He knows his stuff, but he's not a good people person.

Always very gracious and understanding, Dr Cabalo is also very knowledgeable about his profession and gets results that were better than expected.

It’s so rare to meet a surgeon who is authentic, willing to explain things to their patients, truly seems to want to help and has excellent bed side manner; not just before a surgery but after. We are so lucky to have this man in Southern Oregon.
