He completed his internship and residency at the University of Minnesota and was chief resident in neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Sanan completed his fellowship at the University of Cincinnati in skull base and cerebrovascular surgery.
Dr. Sanan is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
