We had surgery scheduled for my son Liam to get his tonsils removed and we waited on the surgery because my husband wanted more information on the surgery. It was supposed to make him feel more comfortable with surgery. My husband came home and told me the complete opposite and that Dr. Smith told him he didn’t need surgery. I have had to reschedule this appointment atleast 3 times since we had the surgery scheduled and each time it was because my son was sick with Flu, Strep, and Covid. I have missed a month of work having to stay home with my son because he keeps getting sick and I am confused why the Dr. Is telling my husband he doesn’t need surgery and to do a sleep study or allergy testing. It feels like we are getting two different opinions from the doctor and I am completely confused why we have take. A step back in the direction of my sons health concerns. We were referred by our pediatrician and each time he got sick they asked me about surgery.
