This was my second hip injection with this provider. When I arrived, the doctor asked if we had done this before, which made me feel like my records hadn’t been reviewed prior to the appointment. While the procedure itself was completed, the interaction felt impersonal and left me feeling more like a number than an established patient.

My first visit was to have fluid removed from my knee it was so painless. I didn’t even know he was done with the procedure. Dr. Smathers suggested I have gel injected into my knee on the second visit my knee hasn’t felt this good in years.
