I really like Dr. Shiels, he’s concerned about getting to the root of the problem but is conservative in his approach.

I was a new patient since my previous doctor had retired. Dr Shiels had reviewed my chart and stepped right in.

Dr Shiels listened to me when I told him the last colonoscopy I had ten years ago made me sick later on in the day. He gave me something so I wouldn’t be sick. I felt great after this colonoscopy. Wonderful doctor. Would highly recommend him!

I saw Dr Shiels @ Rockford Gastroenterology Associates for a follow-up from my hospitalization @ UW-SW-AM Hospital with a bowel-blockage. The physicians from Rockford Gastroenterology Associates helped me tremendously by performing a procedure that allowed them to get the tube placed properly in my stomache that allowed the stomache to be emptied and helped the bowel-blockage to work itself loose and save me from needing to have a surgery to release the blockage. My husband and I are very great up to Dr Shiels and his associates for their knowledge and medical skills that released the blockage in the easiest patient-procedure and caring manner possible. THANK YOU Dr Shiels and Associates. Respectfully yours, a greatful patient and my spouse.
