He is sending me to the hospital. I should have gone in the first place. Dr. Aaron K. Ruter was kind and his staff was kind. He gives me good medicine and I know in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that I shall be healed. Thank you God.

I am sure he is a good doctor but I feel like after waiting 45 minutes to see him my appointment was hurried and the fix for my problem was automatically sent to physical therapy - more than likely not coming back

It is wonderful to have a doctor that cares about his patients. His staff and he are wonderful and I know that I made an excellent decision picking him as my doctor.

Don't spend time with people. Sad but that seems u r. I also read though my after surgery paper work. There is no telling not to get it wet or do not put antibiotics cream on it. Everyone there knows I live by myself. Then why tell my ride to the hospital instead of me. I have not talked to her since she dropped me off. Let the Dr he has corrected. Also he needs to be more personal.

Dr. Ruter grew up in Forreston, a small town in northwest Illinois, where he watched his father treat patients for many years. He later moved on to Rensselaer, Indiana, where he completed his undergraduate education at Saint Joseph’s College before going to Independence, Ohio, where he attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He underwent his surgical residency in rearfoot reconstruction at Midwestern University and Franciscan Alliance in Dyer, Indiana. Dr. Ruter also completed a fellowship at Indiana Foot & Ankle in Jasper, Indiana, with an emphasis in diabetic nerve care and surgery along with diabetic limb salvage and reconstruction. Dr. Ruter is a faculty and board member of The Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS). In addition to teaching for the nerve association, he is also available to treat and diagnose lower extremity nerve conditions.
In his off time, Dr. Ruter enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys fishing in every sense of the word, as well as boating, kayaking, and jeep rides.
Dr. Ruter is available to see patients at our Crown Point and Schererville offices.
