He is excellent Dr. to exam your eyes. He is the one who found the raised elevation in my right eye, a few years ago, sent me to Dr. Grube & it was confirmed I had melanoma in the right eye. Went to Mayo in Rochester, MN

Very informative on the procedure, also gave me information on astigmatism with new procedure, pleased with his comments. Have the start of glaucoma very pleased with his recommendations.

Good relationship with doctor. Enjoy his flexibility in traveling to Beulah satellite site. I have not used it personally at this point but plan on in the future

Dr Fortney is a good Dr...his patients already know that..after many visits and procedures. I think the only ones that need rating are the people that require endless ratings to verify that.

Dr Fortney is very experienced an explains everything really well. He let me know what the side effects could be to the injection I guess as getting before hand. He explained that if I don’t get the injections I would go blind because if the fluid buildup in my eye.

He is straight forward and does a great job.

Dr Fortney is the best, I never seem to have any questions when I leave there. He is very professional.

There was a long wait…not the fault of the doctor but an error by other staff. The conveyor method of tracking patients should be refined. Either that, or reduce the number of patients seen in a day. Also, the tiny waiting room with 4/5 chairs was less than appropriate during a concerning recurrence of the Covid.

I’ll be recommending Dr Fortney to all my friends who may need an Ophthalmologist

Did not take time before he came into the room to even look at my chart to know why I have been coming to him. I know he has a lot of patients but I only have one set of eyes. Asked me questions and he had the answers in my chart if he would have taken the time to look at it.
