I live in a town with several large medical campuses. I drive 250 miles round-trip to see Dr. Bott. Here are a few reasons I do so. I have never walked out of his office, feeling unseen, or unheard. He has a fantastic bedside manner, and seems to really care about his patient goals. He and his team are nothing short amazing, and they are just as compassionate as he is. That tells me that he is a lot about him. He has replaced both of my hips and I would never consider going anywhere else. Lastly, he’s never afraid of a good handshake. I like that.
Dr. Bott came into the room after looking at the one and only out of date x-ray he had on file which came from Bryan East Hospital (minimum damage, slightly cracked right clavicle) and stuck to only the diagnosis of his properly viewed situation. After showing him my personal taken picture of a follow up x-ray (much more damaged & completely broken clavicle) which was not updated nor viewable from his file that came from Bryan West Hospital weeks later, he refused to acknowledge any change in his diagnosis and didn’t seem to bother or acknowledge the more serious updated situation that would definitely need an updated diagnosis. Felt unheard and not properly taken treated to.
