I found him to be aggressive and his conversation and home and the fact he did not want to treat what I was sitting there for should have been determined prior to my arrival. . Had it been a pleasant experience I probably wouldn’t have minded being told he didn’t want to treat me, but the way Dr Bates presents himself made it a very unpleasant experience.

Dr. Bates was running a bit behind schedule, however he explained what he saw on the images provided. Also, gave me a few options along with an injection. It was worth the wait. Would also like to include the PA Bri who did the injection, she was WONDERFUL! Dr. Bates’ MA was also EXCELLENT!! They both deserve 10 STARS FOR THEIR COMPASSION, UNDERSTANDING AND KNOWLEDGE! Thank you ladies you both ROCK!

Dr. Bates had reviewed my history, he asked questions regarding my current condition and listened to my answers. He formulated a treatment plan, got my buy-in and then began to execute the plan, including follow-up in six weeks.

Dr. Aaron Bates is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UF Health in Jacksonville, Fl. and later completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Previously, Dr. Bates has served as the team physician for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Jacksonville Sharks. During his medical training, he helped to cover the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. Currently, he is the team physician for the Jacksonville Icemen and Clay County high schools.
