I was able to get an appointment immediately for shoulder pain. Got there 930. Called me in on time. Exrays and dr visit followed. I was given a cortisone shot and was out of there by 10:15. Very good information and treatment plan received. Great staff too.

Dr Bates was very thorough and informative during my knee examination. He explained in layman's terms what was going, answered my questions the same and made sure I understood how we were going to resolve it.

Dr. Aaron Bates is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UF Health in Jacksonville, Fl. and later completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Previously, Dr. Bates has served as the team physician for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Jacksonville Sharks. During his medical training, he helped to cover the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. Currently, he is the team physician for the Jacksonville Icemen and Clay County high schools.
