After Charley did the correct X-ray so dr bates could see my knee problem, I was pleased how the whole staff including Dr Bates diagnosed me properly and I was pleased with my visit

Dr Bates is extremely competent and professional. He takes time to explain his findings in language that is understandable. He keeps looking for solutions and offers alternatives in an effort to effect my healing. Great asset to SOS.

Dr. Aaron Bates is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at UF Health in Jacksonville, Fl. and later completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.
Previously, Dr. Bates has served as the team physician for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Jacksonville Sharks. During his medical training, he helped to cover the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. Currently, he is the team physician for the Jacksonville Icemen and Clay County high schools.
