Dr. Patel began his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago, earning degrees in biochemistry and psychology. He went on to earn his doctorate at Washington University School of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Patel went to Baylor College of Medicine for orthopaedic surgery residency. During his orthopedic adult joint reconstruction fellowship at Oregon Health and Sciences University, he specialized in hip and knee arthroplasties with the utilization of state of the art robotic and navigational systems.
Scholastically, Dr. Patel has received numerous awards and honors, delivered several lectures and presentations, as well as published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters pertaining to a variety of subjects such as total joints, orthopaedics, skeletal alignment, cancer, and more.

A really nice, caring and personable guy
Dr Aalok was straightforward with me and told me that I can’t give a knee replacement but he’s gonna work on my other knee with gel so I got at least one good knee and that will help a lot he explained everything to me and take your time. It’s a really good doctor and I would recommend him or anybody thank you Doc.
