With more than 20 years of experience in retina care, he provides thoughtful, individualized care focused on preserving vision and supporting long-term eye health for patients with complex retinal conditions.
Born and raised outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Khan has deep roots in the region and spent much of his early medical career serving patients in his home state. During his training, he developed a strong clinical foundation in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of ocular diseases.
Dr. Khan pursued advanced subspecialty training through a surgical retina fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. Following fellowship, he continued caring for patients with advanced retinal disease in both academic and hospital-based settings in Louisiana. After Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Khan continued caring for patients in Louisiana and later practiced in Illinois before establishing his own retinal practice in Mesquite, Texas.
