Dr. Hakki is an American of Kurdish ancestry. Dr. Hakki completed his undergraduate studies at the American Jesuit Baghdad College and his medical degree at the University of Baghdad. He immigrated to the United States where he completed his Residency training at Johns Hopkins and University of Maryland affiliated hospitals. He completed his cardiology fellowship at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hakki has authored and co-authored more than 120 articles in various peer review journals and he currently holds several US Patents and copyrights. Dr. Hakki joined Clearwater Cardiovascular Consultants in July 2016. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Hakki is available to see patients at our Countryside office.
