From my very first consultation through my robotic prostatectomy and recovery, Dr. Daniel Rittenberg has been exceptional. Receiving a prostate cancer diagnosis at 44 was overwhelming, but he took the time to explain every option, answer every question, and make sure I felt informed and confident in my treatment plan.
The surgery went smoothly, and the care I’ve received afterward has been just as impressive. His detailed post-operative instructions and attentive follow-up have made recovery much less stressful because I always know what to expect and when to reach out if I have concerns.
What stands out most is the confidence and compassion he brings to his patients. He never made me feel rushed, and I always felt like I was in the hands of someone who genuinely cared about both my health and my quality of life.

Daniel Rittenberg, M.D. is a board-certified Urologist practicing in the Garden City area. He earned his undergraduate degree at Colgate University in Hamilton, NY, followed by his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Rittenberg has written numerous peer review journals, manuscripts and abstracts that have been presented at national and international meetings including the American Urologic Association annual conference and World Congress of Endourology.
His special interests include minimally invasive treatment of both benign and malignant conditions of the kidneys, bladder, and prostate and treatment of female pelvic organ prolapse. He utilizes new minimally invasive techniques for treatment of BPH.
