Dr. Bhaktasharan Patel is the Founder and President of Peak Gastroenterology Associates, formed in 1996. Since the summer of 2013, “PGA“ has grown to eleven providers, including ten board certified physicians and one board certified adult nurse practitioner.
Dr. Patel’s pleasant and happy disposition make him a patient favorite. Among his peers, Dr. Patel is regarded as an outstanding clinical mind with extremely low complication rates and high polyp detection rates. Dr. Patel currently chairs the Peer Review Committee at Memorial Hospital/University of Colorado Health and was the chief of the Peer Review Committee for the El Paso County Medical Society for five years (2005-2010).
The largest practice by volume of providers and by geographical distribution, PGA is also the fastest growing practice in the region. PGA proudly serves the entire Pikes Peak and Southern Colorado region from Castle Rock to Colorado Springs to Pueblo and beyond. HORRIBLE, I ha e been with him for over a year and its very very apparent they dont teach time management in the school he went to, o er the year he has never been in time for a scheduled appointment this time he was over a hour yes I said a hour late so I left. He needs to quit double booking people especially if he can't handle the work load and see the people he has scheduled he is forsure the worst doctor that I have seen in the springs. He doesn't even have his staff tell you that he is running late he and they just leave you in a room hoping that he actually makes it close to the time he scheduled you. Since I left this time due to waiting a hour I will be waiting for the bill to come in, and once it does I will let them know its a fraudulent claim because he left me in the room for over a hour and I left do to him not maintaining his scheduled appointment time. I will not be rescheiwith this doc since in over 5 visits he never was on time, not once!!!!!
