I have not been given a reason why I have reflux or how to treat it properly I was told to take Pepcid nooo I want answers why is this happening what is causing it and how do I get rid of it

Seemed very scattered, was very confused as to why I was there, I didn’t leave feeling the doctor had any knowledge of my life or health, or investment in it.
