Alexander Culbreth III, MD

Alex M. Culbreth, III, M.D., is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist who provides expert women’s healthcare to patients at Southern OBGYN in Valdosta, Georgia, and the surrounding communities. A Valdosta native, Dr. Culbreth earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine before completing his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the Greenville Hospital System in South Carolina. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), Dr. Culbreth brings more than 25 years of experience to his role at Southern OB/GYN. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to offering comprehensive women’s health services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, well-woman exams, menopause management, and advanced gynecologic procedures.
