Dr. Aaron G. Grand joined the Hand & UpperEx Center in August 2004. After graduating from Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Grand successfully completed a Plastic Surgery Residency in St. Louis and a fellowship in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. He is returning to the Pittsburgh Region after working in private practice in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Grand is board certified and recently received his certification in the subspecialty of surgery of the hand. He has published numerous articles and brings to the practice an impressive list of accomplishments. He participates in fellow and resident education at the University of Pittsburgh..
Dr. Grand is on the medical staff at UPMC Passavant/Cranberry, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, UPMC Presbyterian/Shadyside and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.

I was scheduled for an 8 am follow up appointment and stitches removal with Dr. Grand. After the stitches were removed, I was told Dr. Grand was going to be late and was told to reschedule. I was not even afforded the opportunity to sit and wait to see him. I'm assuming the office staff did not want the appointments to run behind so that they could leave on time.
Very nice and professional. Enjoyed talking with him and all the staff.
Dr. Grand diagnosed the issue with my finger and fixed my finger. Thanks to his surgery, I have a normal finger again. His 'bedside manner' is great!
