I I cannot recommend this doctor based on my experience. I was diagnosed with kidney stones and ultimately underwent surgery. However, there was no stone at the time of the procedure—I had likely passed it in the two weeks leading up to surgery without realizing it. I understand that this can happen, and I’m not faulting the initial diagnosis. What was most concerning was what happened afterward. When I tried to discuss whether additional communication or follow-up imaging might have avoided an unnecessary procedure, the doctor became extremely defensive. Despite knowing how uncomfortable and invasive this procedure is, he showed no empathy for what I had gone through. When we asked questions, he shut us down, told us we were wrong, and said he did not want to discuss it further. The conversation ended with us essentially being dismissed and asked to leave. He may be clinically competent, but his bedside manner and communication were extremely disappointing.
