During his residency training, he completed a 1-year surgical education research project and educational curriculum through the Department of Medical Education at The University of California in San Francisco.
In addition to general urology, Dr. Truesdale has a special interest in Urologic Oncology, Reconstruction and Urinary Stone Disease. He has received numerous research grants and published over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts as well as multiple book chapters.
Dr. Truesdale joins the Advanced Urology Institute after working for two years in the Tampa Bay Area specializing in Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery for prostate and kidney cancer as well as the treatment and prevention of urinary stones.
