After earning his degree at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Joshua Armijo completed his Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe residency in El Paso, TX. Serving vulnerable populations has been his calling since high school when volunteer dental trips showed him the impact of caring hands-on for those in need. His undergraduate degree in developmental studies provided a global perspective on the roots of poverty to understand patients’ experiences better. Dr. Armijo aims to educate that oral health is tied to overall well-being and quality of life. He strives to instill the importance of preventive dental care.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Armijo enjoys soccer, hiking, traveling, and time with family.
