She completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology residency with an MS degree at The Ohio State University in 1998. She stayed on to obtain her US dental degree. Always a pleasure to visit their office. Everyone is helpful. They take care to keep pain to a minimum. My appointment is always on time. i’ve been there a few times, A few times when I have arrived early, they’ve gotten me in early. Where does that happen???

Dr Haberland was fantastic. Answered questions clearly, gave a diagnosis, medication and follow up appointment quickly. Huge huge bonus, she speaks fluent Spanish!

I went to Dr. Christel Haberland for a second opinion. Dr. Haberland was very professional, kind, caring, and listened with compassion to my concerns during my consultation. I highly value her opinion, and we both agreed that there was no need have any procedure done at this time. However, if I would need any oral surgery, she would be who I would go back to, without a doubt. I trust her expertise and would positively recommend her!

Dr. Haberland has taught Oral Pathology as an Assistant Professor at Temple University. She is board-certified in both Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Pediatric Dentistry. While at Yale, Dr. Haberland started a clinical oral pathology practice and an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Biopsy Service in the Yale School of Medicine Department of Pathology.
As part of the American Academy of Oral Pathology (AAOMP), she has served on the education committee and as a Councilor on the board. She is on the editorial board for Pediatric Dentistry, Journal of Dentistry for Children, and Head and Neck Pathology. Her interests are in premalignant lesions, immunobullous diseases, and pediatric oral pathology, and she has lectured nationally on these topics.
