My name is Melissa Haraway, CNM, but I also go by Mel. I am originally from Michigan but moved to Vegas in 2018 to escape the bugs and cold weather. I graduated from Bethel University and became a Certified Nurse-Midwife in June of 2026. I have over 20 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery nurse with over 25 years of experience working in healthcare. I developed a passion for Women’s Health while pregnant with my first son and received exceptional care from caring and experienced providers.
During my third pregnancy, I was blessed to have a nurse midwife as my provider, and I fell in love with the practice and made it my life’s goal. Midwifery-led care is my calling, and I am very blessed to be here to help women in whatever capacity they may need. I am extremely passionate about patient advocacy and collaborative care, as it is very important to me that my patients have a voice and feel heard throughout the process. I like to combine holistic and evidence-based care to fit my patients’ individual needs. My areas of interest are reproductive health, contraceptive counseling, prenatal care, and annual exams. In my free time, I homeschool my daughter. I also enjoy reading, puzzling, crocheting, cooking/baking, and spending time with my husband.
