Dr. Charles Ko is an exceptional physician and a shining example compassionate medical care. From the moment he greeted me, he demonstrated genuine warmth, kindness, professionalism and respect. He introduced himself with a welcoming smile, shook my hand and immediately made me feel comfortable and valued. As a retired nurse with more than 50 years of experience in healthcare, I recognize and deeply appreciate a physician who understands that compassion is just as important as medical knowledge and expertise. Dr. Ko possesses something that cannot be taught in medical school: the ability to make a patient feel genuinely cared for. His kindness, gentle manner and sincere concern were truly a breath of fresh air. AMC is extremely fortunate to have a physician of his caliber. He deserves the highest recognition. Thank you, Dr. Ko, for reminding me what exceptional patient care looks and feels like. You are truly a credit to your profession.
Dr. Ko spoke to me regarding mammogram results. He explained results, and told me area in left breast was a benign cyst, as it has not changed in size. I was very happy to hear this. Thank you.

He explained to me what a cancer cyst would look like versus a normal cyst and that made me feel very comfortable in knowing it is a standard cyst and is benign.
