She is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and received Bachelor’s degrees in Communication Disorders and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Maryland after completing her residency at UNC Hospitals Hearing and Voice Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
