Outside of the office Dr. Dylla enjoys his free time with family and friends, collecting vinyl records, and cheering for his Texas Tech Red Raiders come football and basketball season.

This review is not a reflection of the audiologist personally, but of the clinic’s scheduling and patient-care process. I scheduled during the summer and completed all required paperwork and billing in advance. On the day of my appointment, I was running about 10 minutes behind and called as a courtesy. I was told I would need to reschedule. At the rescheduled appointment, I arrived as expected, but the doctor was running about an hour behind, and we again had to reschedule to receive results. My frustration is with the inconsistency. Patients are expected to be on time and may be required to reschedule for a short delay, yet the same consideration is not given when providers are significantly behind. I understand medical delays happen, but patient care should also include respect for patients’ time, clear communication, and reasonable accommodations when the clinic is running behind.
