Doctors and staff are phenomenal
We recently had a follow-up appt for my daughter about 6 weeks after her surgery. This was our 2nd time at this location, though it is not our usual facility — we scheduled here because they had an earlier opening available. Unfortunately, this experience felt very different from what we are accustomed to at the other location. From the moment the PA entered the room, the interaction felt cold, rushed, & not particularly welcoming. Pediatric follow-up appts, especially after surgery, can already be stressful for families, & a warm, reassuring bedside manner goes a long way. There also seemed to be a communication issue regarding my daughter’s hearing test, which was supposed to immediately follow the appointment. Instead, we were directed to check out at the front desk, leaving us confused about whether the hearing test was still happening or where we were supposed to go next. The medical portion of the visit itself was completed, the overall experience felt impersonal & hurried.
