My visit today was great. Both injections were very helpful. Thank you Doctor Robert Nichols for all you do.

Dr Nichols is very thorough and caring.

He is patient, thorough. Gives me time to absorb to make sure I understand all instructions. Covers all or any questions I may have.

I have never known a doctor that didn’t fill prescriptions I have a few meds that I need filled but said I would have to wait until I see a rheumatologist he ap apparently don’t fill pain meds, sleeping meds so I’m very concerned with what I’m supposed to do when I run out of my pain medication in about a week I know enough that I will go into withdrawals when I run out, but he didn’t instruct me on what to do. I’ve been on hydrocodone for years more than 15 or 20 years he wouldn’t even fill my prednisone it’s a 5 mil steroid. I don’t know if I’m gonna keep him as my primary. He told his assistant to tell me to go back to my previous rheumatologist. But I can’t see him because he’s not in my new insurance network.

I had to wait for 29 minutes to see Dr Nichols. I told myself that I would leave at 30 minutes, but he came in with his smile and cheery disposition just as I was gathering my things to leave. I like Dr Nichols but I don’t like waiting and I don’t think he was well prepared for my visit. He didn’t go over my recent lab report.

Well I can sum it up pretty quickly. I've been a patient of gonzaba medical group for years. Dr Nichols is an absolute awesome doctor. He tries his best and thinks so hard and wants to just heal his patients and make them better. He's a great person. He's caring yet so professional and takes his job very seriously. I thank him for so many things. Let me add his nursing staff... well let me just say this it'd be easier-every single person in Gonzaba every single staff member nurse doctor security it doesn't matter they are all fantastic and they care about people. They work very hard and earn every cent they make. Yet they act like they want to be there and they're not forced to be there just to earn a paycheck. I have never ever not once walked out of these doors disappointed and or angry with any person anytime at gonzaba. Dr. Nichols will work at whatever problem I have or issue no matter how long it takes to make sure it's resolved. He chose the right career.

Dr Nichols was a little over an hour late for my appointment.......but when he came in to the room......he was most sincere in his apology. And that is what counts!! Schedules often go haywire......and it is so nice when the professional acknowledges your wait. Dr Nichols is a very "gentle" doctor......both in spirit and in his procedures. He "floated" me thru two steroid shots in my knees. My husband, who was alos in the room, and I were most impressed with Dr Nichols.

I met Dr. Nichol’s first time January 2022 as a new patient. Today was my 2nd visit and I requested that my wife meet him and be present during visit. We were told “No” bc it was his policy that it just be his patient. I really needed my wife present bc of some of the serious matters we were discussing. When I receive a lot of information I get confused and can’t remember what it is I need to share with my wife. The front office finally gave approval for us to go back. Little did we know that we would NOT receive a friendly welcoming greeting. I believe this “nurse’s” name was Mari. When my wife followed into a room- she turned to her and told her to go sit in waiting room. My wife explained to her that they said we could both meet with Dr.Collins. Mari said “I’will call you then.” So here’s the deal- I sat in his office approximately 84 minutes. I got up to go to the restroom briefly- and Mari came to sitting area B where she saw my wife and told us that the doctor was ready to

I waited for over an hour in the treatment room to see the doctor and then, when he came in, he was rushed. He was with me for less than 10 minutes. It was not a routine visit; I went to him with a problem. The report I received had no mention of the issues or medications we discussed today.

Today was the first time my appointment felt rushed and I felt like my health concerns were being dismissed. When my specialist runs labs and they come back abnormal why is it they are not allowed to refer out without having to see PCP even though there was some concern regarding the labs. I then go see my PCP and I just get told to have labs drawn again when I’ve been having an ongoing issue for a month now. I was a bit disappointed. But even more that I felt unimportant.

Dr. Robert Nichols is a real Professional and a Champion of his Profession. I am happy he is my doctor.
