He seems knowledgeable and kind, with excellent bedside manner. (Also, he has a fantastic sense of style.)

From the first word, I could tell Dr. Shanti cares about his patients. He listens well, and considers my thoughts and questions important. I haven’t had my surgery yet, but I am confident I’m in good hands.

Unfortunately I felt the doctor was not very sympathetic to my pain. He explained to me that my MRI looked normal but he saw that i was clearly crying. i left with not a clear diagnosis and needed to call back later to find out what my diagnosis is. He said he would recommend an injection and that they did it onsite. then when i went to set up that appointment they couldnt get me in for 2/12 weeks so i left in pain

Dr. Shanti was amazing to my 16 year old son. He was through and told my son he would rather be safe and see exactly what’s going on and ordered an MRI. I appreciated that he did that especially with my son playing hockey an MRI would definitely get to the root of his pain.

Dr ran 40 min late. Nurse took a few xrays and then dr came in. Spent about 7 min with me before telling me to get PT and to come back in a month. Didn’t actually look at my back or have me bend/squat to see what I was complaint about. Felt pushed through the system

I have been on and off of Dr. Shanti's care for the last 5 years do to 2 car accidents. In November 2018 Dr. Shanti performed spinal fusion surgery (C4/5 & C5/6) and I couldn't be more happy with the results. I now have no limitations and no pain.

He doesn't volunteer a lot of information but he takes the time to fully answer all of your questions. He is very honest and will not recommend surgery if there's any doubt that it will help. He will guide you through all non-operative options first.
