I've been left in room waiting over 30 mins once an hour so I complained and next thing I knew I was told Dr. Cantu was a new doctor to gonzaba and maybe she has the time since her workload was low its been over 3 years and Dr. Cantu has only been positive and always smiles and makes me feel like my healthcare is important..long story short you won't regret if you select her as your primary doctor. Now Gonzaba healthcare other departments might not be the best but I rather have issues with them and keep Cantu as primary doctor

I don’t feel like Dr. Cantu listens to my concerns. I always leave feeling like I have more to say to her about how I’m feeling and what’s going on with my body. I’m not happy with the care that she provides me and I would like to be seen by another doctor in the future.

Very poor bedside manner with her geriatric patients!! She Talks to them loud and infantile like they are incompetent. She talks over doesn’t let you speak for your self. Very dismissive if she doesn’t like her patient don’t treat them so mean and rude. On one visit she was more concerned about her phone going off with text messages. I feel for my elderly parent makes me want to get them another provider. Even the person shadowing her looked embarrassed on how she talked and treated the patient.

I was so disappointed with Dr. Cantu, she was very arrogant n condescending. She kept interrupting me when I tried to answer a question . Her bedside manner could definitely use some improvement. After she ran some test she never explained them to me as to why my blood levels were off n what to exactly do to correct them n get back to normal n the paper that the nurse gives u at the end of the visit is a waste of paper n ink because it doesn't tell the reason for visit or what recommendation the doctor suggested i may also consider changing the Gonzaba group altogether n for those reasons I would like to be appointed another doctor . I will consult with my insurance to make arrangements

I remember sometime back, they did do a sound o gram on my thyroid. My med. was changed, I think Andrea had ordered the test.

I don't have children and and have a young friend that helps me with all my needs especially Medical. But she wasn't allowed to go in with me to speak to the Dr. when she needs to know everything they tell me cause I forget things and she has to relay information to the other Dr.s I see. I would like her to go in with me every time I go.

Thanks for giving us focus about what we need to do to get better.

Drs notes given to me were generic. Nothing about anything we talked about. She changed my meds and did not list them on the paperwork. Once she was finished with what she wanted to talk about she kept trying to leave. I had to keep asking her to wait I had more issues I wanted to talk about. She was standing and was trying to tell me what to do as she kept moving toward the door. She was also 30 minutes late for my appt. I only see her once or twice a year so I will see how my next visit goes

Doctor Cantu is a great Doctor. Couldn’t ask for anyone better

She reads my chart while I am in room. She always ask what treatment I am receiving. I was done with treatment in April 2019. She asks questions that should already be in computer. All she does is ask questions and type. I m ok with that but her asking me every time what treatment I am receiving is heart breaking. She showed no interest, concern or help with my referral to follow Dr. Marcela Mazo-Canola. I really want to continue with Dr. Mazo. And, she always schedules me with PA automatically without asking me. I had to ask for her for her for this appointment.
