The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc I felt like he should’ve checked on me after the seriousness of my injury and surgery. I love his PA, but I would’ve liked the Dr to see me at least a couple of times, not 6 months later at my request. He was very patient with me and answered my questions The frustration with my pain and the recovery has been difficult and he assured me that with PT and time I will feel better. I I would definitely recommend Dr Miles. Everyone at this clinic has been very friendly!

Dr. Miles was knowledgeable about Depuytren’s, but basically told me there’s nothing he can do until it worsens. After our appointment, I did more research and learned that radiation therapy is an option, but he did not mention it to me.

Have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Miles in the past, but today was an especially busy day. Office had 25 people in the waiting room at one time. Staff was noticeably (and understandably) anxious. Dr. Miles was pleasant as always but very rushed. For a patient experiencing significant pain, this was difficult. It made me feel like a number. As though I was being rushed out the door. Disappointing to say the least.

Dr. MIles is an excellent physician. Earlier this year, he surgically repaired my left hand and finger that had been causing me a lot of pain. Recently, I met with him to discuss shoulder pain that I've had for sometime. His demeanor is always welcoming, comprehensive and reassuring. Plan A: short-term PT. Plan B: surgical procedure only if and when necessary. I continue to appreciate and respect his approach to my care.

Dr. Miles was terrific. He was kind, knowledgeable and patient. Unfortunately there are no survey questions about the check in process: The office paperwork was far exceedingly extensive. Since I was a returning patient I wonder why some forms were not pre-populated (like name, DOB and date). For an office that surely deals with arthritic patients on a regular basis you would think the forms would have more space, rather than these tiny lines that were literally painful to fill out. If you are a new patient I would not recommend Cary Ortho for this reason alone. Dr. Miles however was excellent.

Dr. Miles' welcoming manner is a plus when one is meeting with a doctor. When a steroid injection was one of the choices to relieve the pain, I opted not to get it. Some doctors would be offended that I chose not to have it. Dr. Miles was not offended and respected my choice. For me that is a sign of a doctor who is confident and trustworthy.
